StinkDEX.app is designed to operate with minimal data collection.

We do not create user accounts and we do not require you to submit personal information to use the core features.

What we store on-device

• Settings (theme, units, home location input)
• Check-ins / symptom logs (if you choose to record them)
• Local site caches needed for performance (e.g., last fetch timestamps)

What we do NOT do

• We do not sell personal data.
• We do not create a remote profile of you.
• We do not run server-side “behavior tracking” tied to an identity.

Links and third-party content

When you open a news article, you are leaving the site to view a third-party site. Those sites have their own privacy practices.

Backups

If you export a backup file, you control where it goes (e.g., AirDrop, email, cloud drive). Treat backups like sensitive personal data.
